Squaw Berry Place

Architect: Robert Ben Begley, Architect

Nestled in the woods on the edge of an inland lake, this year-round home was built amongst old growth hemlock and Northern Michigan native plants and shrubs.

Following the demolition of an old family residence, this home was built to preserve the surrounding natural landscape of long lake. An open-air convertible floor plan welcomes the outdoors through a screen porch and multiple doors that open to the waterfront. The home is protected from sight on the lake by the retaining tree coverage around the property.

The home features a modern interior design to add comfort and style to those long summer days.
