Northport Hill

Architect: Robert Holdeman, Architect

This home was built as a retirement residence and is set in a location that has a dramatic view of both Lake Michigan and Grand Traverse Bay.  The layout of this residence is stepped into a hillside with a beautiful view from every window.  Features include maple flooring, cherry cabinetry and painted trim which all add in a nice blend of colors.  The large fieldstone fireplace creates the focal point for the living and dining rooms.  The living space is expanded into the screen porch off the living room.

The energy efficiency of this home is accomplished by a combination of the ground water heat pump that heats and cools the spaces and by the careful insulation and sealing practices used in the construction of all David Webster Construction homes.

The home also features a detached tractor garage and greenhouse that helps in complementing the site and extends the short northern Michigan growing season.

“David Webster and his entire team are truly amazing. Their workmanship from the ground up is an indicator of the quality of their final product. Each craftsman is an expert in their field and they respect the talents of their colleagues.”
